Hour of Code (HOC) Update

Hour of Code (HOC) Update

Check out these screenshots showing some of the coding activities in code.org (it really does feel like playing games and solving puzzles).

53 OUESD teachers of all grade levels have already signed up and the list is still growing!   That’s a 1,325% increase from last year!  Woo hoo!

For more information, check out the Suggested Plan or explore on your own with any of these Hour of Code activities from various organizations.

If you are participating in any Hour of Code activity (from any organization or company, or designing something yourself), please be sure to sign up so your class can be counted too!

OUESD Staff Quote:

“It was so fun, the kids were so engaged.  Many students can’t wait to get home to play again!”
