Email Etiquette: 4 Good Rules to Remember

I’ve received several requests to talk about Email Etiquette!

Let’s quickly touch on four things:

  1. Use strategic, specific Subject Lines that match the content of the email (it just helps everyone!)
  2. Don’t type in all caps- IT’S CONSIDERED YELLING!  🙂
  3. Always check the tone of your email.  Without hearing someone’s voice or seeing their body language, it’s easy to misunderstand and be misunderstood!
  4. Never forward an email unless you have the express permission of the sender.

There are other important things to remember, but that’s a good start for today!
